WinRK is a high performance, multi-format file archiver. WinRK supports all of the most comman archive formats in use today, including ZIP, RAR, ACE, BZIP2, GZIP, TAR, ISO and the native RK format. The native RK format provides industry leading compression, encryption and analysis capabilities.

WinRK combines many standard archiving features with a new, powerful and feature filled GUI interface. Some of the features included are:
* Powerful archiving interface using a modify apply paradigm.
* Full support for several standard archive types, including ZIP, BZIP2, GZIP, TAR, TAR.GZ, TAR.BZ2, ISO and RAR (read-only).
* Powerful native RK archive format providing many new features (see below).
* Full internal unicode support, providing faithful reproduction of file and archive names on all unicode file systems.
* Support for creating self extracting ZIP and RK archives for Win32, Win64 and WinCE platforms.
* User interface localised to several different languages. Simple support for localisation to any unicode supported language.
* Support for viewing CJK text even on European Windows versions.
* Shell integration, including drag and drop and right click menu options and property pages for archives.

The following changes have been made:

* Fixed bug with benchmark when choosing 100kb size.
* Fixed bug in archive volume processing which caused hang when writing >4GB sections to archive.
* Fixed bug causing no CRCs to be generated when choosing Store compression method.
* Modified PDF handler to correctly store compressed data when option is set in profile (eg. Fastest).
* Ported to Win64 platform.
* Improved tabset control user interface.
* Fixed bugs with drag and drop support causing WinRK to freeze.
* Created Win64 sfx stubs.
* Included Win64 asm to speed up PWCM and FPW codecs.
* Fixed bug in shell extension causing property page to be displayed incorrectly first time it is used.
* Changed audio codec block type due to changes in fp model in compiler leading to incompatibility with earlier versions.
* Created PocketPC/Windows Mobile self extractor stub. (NB. Doesn't support PWCM or FPW codecs.)
* Created new audio codec which is faster and more portable. No longer dependant on FP meaning it is portable to all platforms.
* Fixed bug in GZIP decoding where eof sometimes wasn't recognised, leading to WinRK hanging when decoding a gzip file.
